Live Well at Home by Eskaton is looking for a key team member for their Roseville office staff.  The Accounting Specialist provides part-time  [16 hours/week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays] support and assistance to the Live Well at Home management team and clients.  Responsibilities include weekly billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, data entry and general clerical tasks..  Occasional back-up is provided for weekly payroll processing and the Business Office Manager duties.

The Live Well Accounting Specialist will have excellent organizational and time management skills and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze and prepare weekly billing invoices
  • Review and process all payments
  • Follow up on unpaid invoices
  • Response to client billing inquiries
  • Reviewing accounts payable and preparing check requests
  • Month end close and reporting
  • Process deposits and client refunds
  • Process Long term care invoices
  • Perform journal entries to ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile monthly banking statements
  • Work with corporate accounting
  • General office duties including answering phones, filing
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy

  • Exceptionally well organized with strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple projects along with frequent requests for assistance and support.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles

  • Exhibits courtesy, diligence and ability to adjust to situations involving a variety of duties characterized by frequent changes and interruptions.
  • Must perform well under stress when confronted with unexpected or urgent situations.
  • Comfortable with problem solving and decision making.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision  

Education

  • AA degree or higher in Accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks

Training and Experience

  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Minimum 3+ years bookkeeping experience
