Live Well at Home by Eskaton is looking for a key team member for their Roseville office staff.  The Trainer & Quality Supervisor is responsible for the training and mentoring of caregivers within Live Well at Home.  Additional responsibilities for various supervisory activities for  training, caregiver supervision, scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, client management and satisfaction, homecare operations, inquiry calls and client assessments. 

This full-time position requires the ability to relate well to older adults and their family members and have sensitivity to the special needs and concerns of older people. This position must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.  Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, meet deadlines and effectively multi-task and lead a cohesive team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct caregiver orientation training
  • Conduct training for our Caregiver Academy
    • Classroom and online training
    • Hands-on skills training
  • Supervise caregiver annual online training
  • Conduct monthly specialized caregiver training classes
  • Mentoring of new caregivers
  • Client care assessments
  • Quality and Supervisory field visits to clients and caregivers
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating day to day activities of caregivers.
  • Handles call-offs and rescheduling of caregivers and clients
  • Maintains client and caregiver database
  • Answers telephone, takes new client inquiries and converts this call to a care assessment
  • Responds promptly and courteously to all clients' calls.
  • On-call - based on office rotation to handle client and caregiver  emergencies, staffing of call-off shifts and new client staffing.
      • Weekly on call = Monday - Thursday 5PM to 8AM.
      • Weekend on call = Friday 5PM to Monday 8AM.

This position must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively. Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines:

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities in a quick and efficient  manner.

 

Training and Experience

  • High school graduation; 2 years min college level
  • 2 years of related business experience
  • Senior care or homecare experience a plus.
  • Training experience a plus
  • Supervision and management experience a plus.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV check.
  • Must pass background check, drug and TB screening
